Inquiry Question

The world is changing at an increasing pace, difficulty in breaking down social barriers has slowed progress.  With many developing countries speaking Spanish, you need to be able to understand and speak Spanish to improve the awareness of pollution, habitat destruction, and ecological living.  You have decided to become an ecologist.  How can you develop your knowledge and skills to better serve science and communicate and understand other scientists whose primary language is Spanish?  How do you plan on taking care of basic necessities (housing, transportation, food, etc.) for yourself while living in a different country?  Why are there differences to consider in meeting basic necessities in another country compared to the United States?
